New modification of STAB® Patrol professional telematics terminal added to SpaceTeam® product line. Developed for professional use in state services, such as Police and Emergency, now it supports LLS sensor, hands free and alarm button. Developed and produced in one united body size 1DIN that makes its installation very easy process, STAB® Patrol delivers positioning function as well as fuel consumption control. Terminal optimized for status exchange between dispatcher and driver. Separate alarm button expands ability and functional of the terminal. Standard functional of STAB® Patrol also expanded with external hands free to efficient voice calls to dispatching center.
1DIN form factor allows mounting the terminal in standard niche of the vehicle. “For security reasons is very important to have fast access to alarm button. Driver and passenger can reach the button in case of emergency very fast. From this point of view place of STAB® Patrol installation and its form factor is very comfort for the driver”, - said Head of Technical Support Department Evgeniy Tckachenko.
Important functional, released in this terminal is a work with statuses. “Using STAB® Patrol in fleet management system makes process of the management much easy. Operator of the system doesn’t need to spend time to control every step of vehicle task list completion. Here work with statuses is easy and comfortable. Route task list of the vehicle during working process divided on the logical steps with particular status. All statuses displayed as pictogram and as a text on the front board of the STAB® Patrol. Driver can easily reach it. He can just press particular button to send vehicle status such as “loaded” or “on the route”. Together with status dispatcher gets information about vehicle position, fuel level and connected sensors status”, - Evgeniy Tkachenko added.
STAB® Patrol also carries security functional. It has special interface for i-Button identification key which allows customer to set car in alarm mode. Using inbuilt microphone, operator also can make the hidden call and listen environment inside the car in case of emergency situation.
STAB® Patrol was developed for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation (Police) to increase effectiveness of mobile patrol squad and decrease of reaction time on crime events and emergency situations. Onboard terminals send its position and tracking parameters, using GLONASS/GPS satellite signals information, sensors status, status information etc. STAB®Patrol can also manage external devices using its outputs. Working as a part of Fleet Management system, terminal sends its position and tracking information, sensor status information, CAN-bus information to the telematics server and dispatching centers, using different channels. Terminal can use satellite, cellular, Gonetz-D1M and UHF channels for interconnection.
