SpaceTeam® specialists have integrated together navigation and multi connection technologies that provided opportunity to choose available data transferring channel (satellite connection, GSM, WI-FI)
This new innovative solution provides maximum stability of the Fleet Management system as well as considerable traffic economy because of optimization algorithm – satellite data channel will be used only if GSM signal will be lost for long period.
There are two terminals are used in navigation connection set: STAB® Liner 108, which has GSM modem to provide connection in cellular networks and Wi-Fi module, and SkyWave IDP 690, which works in satellite networks Inmarsat. The set uses one common ID-identifier which allows to identify vehicle in system as one solid unit and shows on the map as one element.
The set of STAB® Liner and SkyWave terminals provide user with maximum range of peripheral equipment (alarm button, fuel level sensors, ultrasonic and inductive sensors etc.). That allows using wide array of configurations.
Fleet of the vehicles of Regional State Office of Civil Defense, Fire and Emergency of Tomsk region is equipped with STAB® Liner and SkyWave terminals.
Continuous working of the telematics server provides un-interruptible stream of the monitoring information. This allow personnel to manage business processes more efficient and guarantees passenger safety in difficult weather conditions.
